About Me
I have been working with and advocating for children and adults most of my life. From an early age and heavily influenced by my grandparents' wisdom, I have found that helping others is the greatest gift that I can share. It is my honor to offer psychotherapy to Washington state preteens, teens, and adults through the convenient way of telehealth.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (on the ancestral lands of the S'Klallam people), both my formal education and work history are rooted in assisting people navigating life and the systems in which we all belong. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and Rehabilitation from Western Washington University and a Master's degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. I have experience in mentoring, case management, crisis intervention, and child & family systems (foster care and adoption both domestic and some foreign). I spent many years with multiple roles during my time volunteering in a village in Haiti and during my employment with the Nooksack Indian Tribe in Deming, WA. More recently, my experience expands over advocacy for high quality and equitable education/intervention and trauma informed care in early learning environments for children in Washington.
I currently reside in Snohomish County (ancestral lands of Skagit and Stillaguamish people) with my husband, two children and our goofy goldendoodle (who you might meet- he sometimes pops into the camera!). When not working or entertaining my kids and dog, I try to prioritize my own self-care. I enjoy a long run, or a garage gym work out with my husband, a good book or jigsaw puzzle, visiting unfamiliar places (especially places with beaches) and doing all these things while drinking copious amounts of good coffee!

Good Faith Estimate (for self-paying clients)
Starting on January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act1 (NSA) protects uninsured (or self-pay) individuals from many unexpectedly high medical bills. The Act requires that health care providers and facilities give uninsured (or self-pay) individuals an estimate for the cost of their health care before the individual agrees to get the item or service.
This Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill. I will provide a writer good faith estimate at the beginning of services to be reviewed by you.
